This graph describes the proportions of drug toxicity deaths where manner was certified as accident in terms of whether any opioids, stimulants, both or neither contributed to the toxicity death. Percentages by category are presented for accidental toxicity deaths in Nova Scotia each year.
Please note that many toxicity deaths have multiple drugs certified as the cause of the toxicity death (i.e. multi-drug toxicity caused death).
